MyMusik on Android TV
Your music on the big screen
Browse your Android TV library with a remote or control playback from a browser on your local network. Optional phone sign-in and AI voice need internet access.

Sign in with your phone
Connect your MyMusik account using your phone, without typing a password with the TV remote.
- Open sign-in on the TV and choose the phone sign-in option.
- Scan the QR code with your phone, or open the address shown on the TV and enter its code.
- Sign in and approve the request on your phone. The TV signs in automatically.
Sign-in needs internet. Use the fresh code on your TV; the screenshot is an example. You can also use local playback without an account.
Turn your phone into a TV remote
Control playback and the queue from a browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Music plays on the TV. When the music can play locally, you can use the remote without internet.
- Connect both devices to the same local network. Wi-Fi and a wired TV connection can share the same router.
- On the TV, open Connect phone. Enable remote access if prompted and choose TV playback.
- Scan the TV’s fresh QR code or open its invitation link in the other device’s browser. The remote device does not need MyMusik installed.
Keep MyMusik running and both devices reachable. Each code allows one connection with an eight-hour session; choose New code for another device. Read only access does not allow playback changes.
Control desktop and Android, too
Use the same browser remote with MyMusik on desktop or Android phones and tablets. For example, control music on your computer from your phone, or on an Android device from your laptop.
- On the device running MyMusik, open the profile menu → Insights → Connect a device. Enable Allow Remote Access in app settings.
- Use the shield button to open access settings, select Remote playback and choose Apply.
- On another device on the same network, scan the fresh QR code or open the link from Copy URL. Keep MyMusik running on the playing device.
Desktop and Android connections start with Read only access. Choose Remote playback to allow playback changes. Online account sign-in, cloud transfers and AI need their respective services.
Say what you want to hear
Open the in-app AI voice action and try “Play my favorites” or “Set a sleep timer for 30 minutes.” Requests use your library and the actions you allow.
AI needs an account with service access, internet and available AI credits. Voice input needs microphone access and supported speech input. Android controls the remote’s system Assistant button; start MyMusik requests from the in-app action.
Find a record. Press play.
Browse albums, artists, playlists and folders with the directional buttons. Open a collection to choose a track, or use its Play action to start the collection.

Keep your favorite controls close
Choose which shortcuts appear in the TV bars and which stay in More actions.
A few useful details
Are phone sign-in and Connect phone the same?
No. Phone sign-in connects your account over the internet. Connect phone creates a browser remote on your local network with the access level you choose. Each has its own QR code.
Do I need internet for remote control?
No, provided the devices can reach each other on your local network, MyMusik is running, remote access is enabled and the audio is playable on the TV. Cloud downloads, account sign-in and AI need internet.
Can a tablet or computer be the remote?
Yes. Open the invitation link in a browser on the same network. The controlling device does not need MyMusik installed.
Does signing in download my music?
Sign-in gives access to account services. Open Cloud to choose what to access or download, then check transfer progress. Music must be playable locally for offline listening.
Can I listen without AI or a cloud account?
Yes. Play music available on the device without using AI or cloud services. Connected features have their own account and service requirements.
